Tour for 5 Days/4 Nights from Marrakech to Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech, Tiz´n´Tichka, Ouarzazate, Skoura, Kelaa Magouna, Dades Gorge
Our driver will meet you at your riad or hotel where you will be picked up. Then depart for Marrakech and transport across the High Atlas mountains via Tiz´N´Tichka pass, taking time to stop and enjoy beautiful landscapes, and coffee and fresh orange juice. We visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This Kasbah has appeared in over 20 films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia who was the first movie to be shot here. After lunch, we will head to movie studios, home to the largest film studio in the world, before continuing the Valley of Roses and visiting the Kasbah Amerhidil in Skoura. This incredible Kasbah is located next to the river Amerhidil, is one of the largest in Morocco. After one short break, we depart for the Dades Gorges through the Dades Valley. There we stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery and fascinating rock formations. Dinner and overnight in the panoramic hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorge, Tinghir, Todra Gorge, Tinjedad, Touroug, Arfoud,Merzouga,Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, return via the Dades Valley until Boumalne in order to continue in direction of Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. We head into this valley and stop there to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Todra Gorge. Free time to walk a little bit in the "gorges", enjoy the river and the beautiful view. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we leave for Tinjedad, with his old underground irrigation system, and Touroug palm plantations reaching Erfoud town for a visit of a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, also known as Dunes of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Merzouga.
Day 3 : Merzouga, Khamlia, nomad family, Rissani, Merzouga, Erg Chebbi, night in the desert
After breakfast, you will start a fantastic journey around the dunes of Merzouga and visit the village of Khamlia (village of Gnaoua), a nomad family living in the desert, and the town of Rissani with its lively souk. You can explore the tourist area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove as a part of your exploration. After lunch we return to the hotel. In the later afternoon, prepare for the camel trekking into the sunset and spend the night in a Berber tent in the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac (camp).
Day 4: Merzouga, Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkoub, Draa-Valley, Zagora
After a quiet and memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi sand, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes. Then we go back with the camels to the hotel to meet the guide and have a breakfast and shower, then we leave for Zagora. Lunch in Nkoub, then continue to Zagora through the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Zagora.
Day 5: Zagora, Ouarzazate, Tiz´n´Tichka, Marrakech
After breakfast, you will leave Zagora, through Draa Valley and Agdez.You and follow the path to explore the Draa River as one of the longest rivers in the High Atlas Morocco, originating in the mountains. Enjoy its green palm goves (Date, olives, and almonds.), green foliage is an indication of good irrigation of the valley in this area. After this we will continue to Ouarzazate, where you can have a short visit of the Kasbah Taourirt. After lunch you will continue to return to Marrakech. Arrival in Marrakech around 5.30 pm, transfer to your hotel or riad and end of our service.
